Concrete block

A hollow concrete masonry unit, rectangular in shape, made from Portland cement and other aggregates.

A concrete masonry unit having special treatment of its exposed face for architectural effect; may consist of exposed aggregates or beveled recesses for a patterned.

concrete block

A hollow or solid concrete masonry unit consisting of portland cement and suitable aggregates combined with water. Lime, fly ash, air-entraining agents, or other admixtures may be included. Sometimes incorrectly called cement block.
