Copper Culture State Park
Location:Off US Highway 41, in Oconto.
Facilities:Picnic area, interpretive center, museum.
Activities:Fishing (in the Oconto River).
Special Features:Park features an Indian burial ground from the Copper Culture, about 6,000 years ago. It is the oldest cemetery site in Wisconsin. Also features a 15-acre shortgrass prairie.
