Family Aeshnidae has 09 species belonging to 06 genera; Cordulegasteridae has only one species, Corduliidae has 03 species of 02 genera, Gomphidae has 12 species of 09 genera and Libellulidae has 43 species belonging to 21 genera.
A notable difference among aquatic habitats on the Refuge was a greater number of Aeshnidae (darners), Gomphidae (clubtails), Cordulegasteridae (spiketails), and Argia (dancers) species present in lakes, ponds, and streams compared to numbers found in wetlands.
