Special Features:Park encompasses six miles of rugged beauty in a scenic mountain pass, with numerous hiking trails, waterfalls, and mountain views. A plaque marks the site of the Willey House, which escaped damage from an 1826 landslide, but the Willey family perished as they sought shelter away from the house. The house later became an inn but burned down in 1898.
