Crocco's equation

[′krä‚kōz i′kwā·zhən]
(fluid mechanics)
A relationship, expressed asv× ω = -T grad S, between vorticity and entropy gradient for the steady flow of an inviscid compressible fluid;vis the fluid velocity vector, ω (= curlv) is the vorticity vector, T is the fluid temperature, and S is the entropy per unit mass of the fluid.
