Cruck Cottage is now set to welcome as many visitors to the cottage as possible over coming months.

cruck' method of timber frame construction to be found in this country.
Kate Wilson, Heritage at Risk principal adviser for the North East at English Heritage said: "This is a really special building, and an astonishingly rare combination of timber-framed
cruck construction and heather thatch still in place.
The view is 'only' of a 1530-1540 gate house and an adjacent medieval '
cruck frame' Lower Brockington manor house, built between 1380-1400 using estate wood that is thought to have been limewashed to help it to remain preserved.
