DSRV," a Navy spokesperson said on Wednesday.

DSRV) at the Naval Dockyard here.
Mollusks were collected on June 13th, 2005 during dive 4129 of the
DSRV Alvin operated from RV Atlantis (Cruise AT-11) at Jaco Scar (09-06.836 N-84-50.408 W) at a depth of 1 888 m.
The navy is hopeful that the
DSRV will be acquired within the next two years.

DSRV, which is operated by a crew of three, can rescue 14 personnel from a disabled submarine at one time and can operate in extreme sea conditions (up to Sea State 6), Indian Navy said in a statement.
