American architect, associated with Town and Davis. Specialized in in Greek, Gothic, and Egyptian Revival works; New York University, New York City, in 1837; Bank of Louisville, Louisville, KY, in 1836; and Louisiana State Capitol, Baton Rouge, LA, in 1852.
