Dards

 

the conditional name for a group of peoples living in adjacent regions of northern India, Pakistan, and northeast Afghanistan and speaking Dardic languages (Kashmiri, Kohistani, Shina, and Khowar). In historical literature, the territory they inhabit is often known as Dardistan.
