Dashava

 

an urban-type settlement in Stryi Raion, L’vov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Situated in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains, 6 km from the Khodovichi railway station (on the Stryi-Khodorov line). Dashava has a deposit of fuel gases; gas mains lead from the settlement to Kiev, Moscow, Minsk, and other cities. It also has carbon-black and brick factories.
