Debye potentials
[də′bī pə′ten·chəlz] (electromagnetism)
Two scalar potentials, designated Ρ e and Ρ m, in terms of which one can express the electric and magnetic fields resulting from radiation or scattering of electromagnetic waves by a distribution of localized sources in a homogeneous isotropic medium.
