Defektoskopiia

 

(Flaw Detection), a scientific and technical journal published since 1965 by the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in Sverdlovsk. It was established on the basis of the Institute of Metal Physics and is published six times a year. Defektoskopiia publishes orginal articles on research in the theory and technology of nondestructive testing of materials and products and on the results of laboratory and industrial testing of defectoscopes. The journal deals with the experimental use of testing equipment in factories and the experimental testing of construction designs and materials. Circulation, 3,500 (1972). The journal is published in English in New York.
