Dornbusch, Rudiger

Dornbusch, Rudiger

(1942–  ) economics educator; born in Krefeld, Germany. Educated at the University of Geneva, he came to the U.S.A. in 1967 and earned a Ph.D. at the University of Chicago in 1971. In 1977 he became Ford International Professor of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He wrote several works on economics, including Dollars, Debts and Deficits (1987).
