downspouts and drainpipes to prevent environmental damage.
Two or three or more stand-alone barrels, connected to other
downspouts, will collect more water during heavy downpours.
The only other addition to the system was to add wire mesh over the top of the
downspout to keep out leaves.
Start by removing the old
downspout. Use the new 3 x 4-in, drop outlet that you buy with your new
downspout as a template to trace an outline for the larger hole.

If water is gushing from your
downspouts and still overflowing the gutters, you should install additional
downspouts or replace your standard 2 x 3-in.
To fix the problem, first move the
downspout to direct water away from the fence.
