Durville process
[′dər·vil ‚präs·əs] (metallurgy)
A casting process involving the attachment of an inverted mold to the top of a crucible; the metal is melted in the bottom of the crucible, and then the molten metal is decanted into the mold by inverting the entire apparatus.
