Dzun Mod

 

(also, Dzun Modo or Dzuun Modo), a city in the Mongolian People’s Republic, south of Ulan Bator; administrative center of the Central Aimag (region) since 1958. Population, 5,700 (1963). A food-processing combine, a factory producing leather shoes, and garment enterprises are located there. Building materials are also manufactured.
