Winters are short and mild (average January temperature, 5°C), and summers are not hot (average July temperature, 16°C); precipitation amounts to 700 mm a year. Remedial methods include sea bathing and baths, aerotherapy, heliotherapy, hydrotherapy, and therapeutic calisthenics. Treatment is available for patients with functional disorders of the nervous system, nontuberculous respiratory ailments, anemias, and other ailments.
