Location:3 miles east and 1 mile north of the city of El Dorado on Highway 54.
Facilities:More than 1,000 campsites, including 128 sites with full hookups, 352 with water and electric hookups, and 566 non-utility campsites, a 24-site group campground, a designated horse campground, 10 rental cabins, laundry facility, 13 showerhouses, picnic areas,10 group shelters, trails, 2 swimming beaches, 17 boat ramp lanes, 5 courtesy docks, marina, sailing club, boat rentals, amphitheater with indoor-outdoor stage.
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, hunting.
Special Features:Kansas's largest state park, El Dorado is also one of its most handicapped-accessible. Among the park's many facilities is a large amphitheater with dual stages that accommodates a variety of concerts and festivals each year.
