Ellisville Harbor State Park
Location:In southeastern Massachusetts. From Boston, Route 3 south to Exit 2, right to Route 3A north; park is 2 miles on right.
Facilities:Trails, scenic viewing area.
Activities:Fishing, hiking, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:One of the most scenic spots on the South Shore coastline, the park's
natural attractions include a barrier beach, salt marsh, sphagnum bog,
a red pine forest, and open meadows. In fall and winter, harbor seals
can be seen just offshore.
