Energomashinostroenie

 

(Power Engineering Machine Building), a monthly scientific and industrial journal published in Leningrad by the Ministry of Power Engineering Machine Building of the USSR and by the Scientific and Technical Society of the Machine-building Industry.

Founded in 1955, Energomashinostroenie deals with aspects of theoretical research and the development of primarily high-power energy-industry equipment and machinery. Such equipment and machinery includes steam-turbine power units that run on organic fuels or on nuclear fuels; hydroturbines; gas-turbine and steam-gas-turbine installations; compressor assemblies and diesel engines; and equipment used in the comprehensive computer-assisted mechanization and automation of energy-industry installations. Energomashinostroenie contains articles on the economics, organization, and management of production and on new methods and techniques; it also presents information on power engineering machine building abroad. Circulation, 3,000 (1978).
