Enozero

 

a lake on the Kola Peninsula. Area, 94.4 sq km; with its numerous islands, approximately 100 sq km. The lake, situated at a height of 224 m, has rocky and extremely jagged banks. Enozero consists of two parts joined by a strait that is 350 m across at its widest point. It is the source of the Varzina River, which flows into the Barents Sea.
