Erzhar

an urban-type settlement and center of Mirzachul’ Raion, Dzhizak Oblast, Uzbek SSR. It has a railroad station 73 km northwest of Gulistan. Population, 14,200 (1971). Erzhar has reinforced-concrete and cotton-cleaning plants.
