Location:33 miles northwest of San Ysidro via NM 4 and 126.
Facilities:37 developed campsites (5 with electric hookups), restrooms (é), picnic tables and grills (é), 2 group shelters, playground, cross-country ski and biathlon trail, fishing platforms (é), boat ramp.
Activities:Camping, boating (non- and electric-motored boats only), fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing, ice fishing, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Fenton Lake is a high mountain lake surrounded by ponderosa ines in the valley of the Rio Cebolla of the Jemez Mountains. The park was formerly a nesting area for migratory waterfowl and a wildlife refuge, and waterfowl, turkey, deer, muskrat, elk, and bobcat can still be observed.
