Fine, Henry Burchard
Fine, Henry Burchard
(1858–1928) mathematician; born in Chambersburg, Pa. He was dean of the Princeton science departments until 1928 and during Woodrow Wilson's leave to run for president in 1912 Fine was interim president of Princeton. He was a founding member of the American Mathematical Society (1891), serving as its president in 1911–12.
