Flooz

A Web-based gift certificate system that started in late 1999 and went out of business in 2001. The sender prepaid the Flooz, which was emailed to someone like a greeting card, and the recipient spent it on sites that accepted Flooz. A free reminder service was also provided to keep people from forgetting anniversaries and other dates. See e-card.
