Location:Adjacent to the Old Spanish Trail (US 90) in eastern New Orleans.
Facilities:Closed indefinitely due to extensive damage suffered during Hurricane Katrina.
Special Features:Fort was constructed shortly after the War of 1812 to defend navigational channels leading into the city of New Orleans.
