Facilities:50 utility campsites, 30 standard campsites, picnic areas, housing and conference facilities, snack bar, beach access, boat launch, dock, 9 mooring buoys, hiking trails (12 miles; 5 miles @di), bike trails (12 miles), amphitheater, ball fields, game courts, museum.
Activities:Camping, fishing, boating, scuba diving, hiking, biking, swimming, water skiing, crabbing, kite flying, tennis.
Special Features:Park houses the Port Townsend Marine Science Center (featuring saltwater aquariums, touch pools, and exhibits) and the 248th Coast Artillery Museum, both operated by private organizations.

Port Townsend, Wash., was the site of filming for the highly acclaimed movie "An Officer and a Gentleman." The film was shot on location at historic Fort Worden, a military facility built at the turn of the century.
You can rent former officers' quarters at Fort Flagler (from $93) and Fort Worden (from $117) State Parks.
