Fowler’s Solution

 

a potassium arsenite solution, a medicinal preparation developed by the English physician T. Fowler in 1786. The solution is taken internally as a general tonic in certain forms of anemia, cachexia, myasthenia, and neurasthenia. It is contraindicated in kidney disorders, neurites, pronounced anemia, and dyspeptic diseases.
