Freya
(also Freyja), in Scandinavian mythology, the goddess of fertility, love, and beauty. Freya is the sister and sometimes the wife of Frey. She is married to Odin, for whom she searches the earth and weeps golden tears. “Freya” is evidently a later name for the goddess Frigg.
