Gallier, James, Sr.
(1798–1866)American architect in New Orleans; partner of Minard Lafever, Charles B. Dakin, and James Dakin. Leading Greek Revival architect; he designed the Government Street Presbyterian Church, Mobile, AL, in 1835; Saint Charles Hotel, New Orleans, in 1836; and the City Hall in New Orleans in 1850.
