Garmo Glacier
a glacier in the Pamirs at the headwater of the Obikhingou River (in the Vakhsh basin) in the Tadzhik SSR. Length, 27.5 km; area, 153.3 sq km. The elevation at its base is 2,980 m. The glacier tongue is largely covered by a moraine.
