Gokla

 

Died in late 1669 or in 1670. Leader of an anti-Mogul Jat peasant rebellion in North India in 1669. Under his leadership, the Jats achieved several victories over the troops of Aurangzeb. Gokla was taken prisoner by the Moguls and executed.
