Google Play Music

Google Play Music

A music streaming service from Google. Introduced in 2011, Google Play Music stores all titles purchased from Google Play as well as up to 100,000 user-owned songs, all of which can be streamed or downloaded. The user's computer is scanned, and titles that match those in Google's collection are identified. Non-matching titles are uploaded to Google. The ad-free, premium service features 40 million songs and provides downloads for off-line playback.

Google Play ---> YouTube
Google Play Music has also included YouTube Music. However, in December 2020, YouTube Music replaced Google Play Music. See YouTube Music, Google Play and Google Nest.
