Location:13 miles northeast of Two Harbors on Highway 61.
Facilities:70 drive-in campsites, showers (é), flush toilets (é), group camp, kayak campsite, picnic area (é), enclosed picnic shelter (é), hiking trails (18 miles), mountain bike trails (12 miles), wheelchair-accessible trail (1.5 miles), ski trails (12 miles), snowmobile trails (1.5 miles), warming house, ski and snowshoe rentals, historic structures, visitor center (é), interpretive exhibits, gift shop.
Activities:Camping, lake and river fishing, hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, nature programs (year round).
Special Features:Park is known for its spectacular waterfalls, river gorge, Lake Superior shoreline, Civilian Conservation Corps log and stone structures, and North Woods wildlife.
