Greifswald Treaty of Alliance of 1715

 

a treaty between Russia and Hanover against Sweden, signed October 17 (28) in Greifswald, Germany. George, the elector of Hanover, and Peter I agreed to mutual cooperation in obtaining lands on the conclusion of peace with Sweden. Denmark and Prussia also joined the treaty. It never had any practical significance.
