Guermonprez, Trude

Guermonprez, Trude

(1910–76) weaver; born in Danzig, Germany. She came to the U.S.A. in 1939 to teach at Black Mountain College and later in California. Known for experiment with on-loom weaving techniques, she also explored unusual materials.
