Gul’kevichi

 

a city (until 1961, a settlement) and center of Kavkazskii Raion, Krasnodar Krai, RSFSR, located 150 km northeast of Krasnodar. A railroad station on the Rostov-on-Don-Armavir line. Population, 22,000 (1970). Gul’kevichi has a reinforced-concrete goods plant, a dairy, a sugar refinery, a distillery, a plant for grading corn seeds, a mixed feed plant, a brickyard, and a building materials combine.
