Hampton, Mark

Hampton, Mark

(1940–  ) interior decorator; born in Plainfield, Ind. With an M.F.A. from New York University's Institute of Fine Arts and following employment with Mrs. Henry Parish II and with McMillen, Inc., he established his own New York practice (1976). His historical re-creations brought commissions to restore Gracie Mansion (1984) and to redecorate Blair House (1985).
