Harlow, Bryce N. (Nathaniel)

(1916–87) lobbyist, government official; born in Oklahoma City, Okla. An army veteran and House Armed Services Committee chief clerk, he was President Eisenhower's congressional liaison and speech writer (1951–61). Chief lobbyist for Proctor and Gamble, he worked briefly for Richard Nixon in 1968. He received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1981.
