A series of splendid sculptures, first of Senenmut as tutor to the young princess, and then in kneeling postures to present such attributes as the surveyor's cord, a shrine, the Hathor-headed sistrum (rattle), or the cryptogram of Uraeus (cobraform goddess of the harvest combined with Maatkare) encapsulate not only his official responsibilities in the royal household but also the iconographic innovations in the art of the early Eighteenth Dynasty.
