Location:In the southeastern corner of the state on Highway 85, 40 miles south of Torrington.
Facilities:Tent and trailer campsites, restrooms, picnic area, beach area, boat ramp, boat dock, dam, playground (é).
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, ice fishing, swimming, birdwatching, hunting (with restrictions).
Special Features:Hawk Springs reservoir supports healthy populations of walleye, channel catfish, perch, and black crappie. The reeds at the south end of the lake provide a rookery for blue herons.
