Heninger, George Robert
(1934– ) psychiatrist, neurobiologist; born in Los Angeles. He was affiliated with Yale University from 1966, becoming professor of psychiatry and director of the Ribicoff Research Facilities (1978). An expert in the field of depression, antidepressant therapies, and psychopharmacology, he was a consultant to government and numerous pharmaceutical companies.
