Hyde Memorial State Park
Location:8 miles northeast of Santa Fe Plaza via Hyde Park Road.
Facilities:50 developed campsites (7 with electric hookups), Adirondack shelters,
restrooms (é), picnic areas (é), 3 group shelters, playground,
hiking trails, rental lodge, visitor center.
Activities:Camping, hiking, sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Park has dense stands of
evergreens, as well as aspen and shrubs, and is a natural refuge for
wildlife. The park also serves as a good base camp for excursions into
the surrounding Santa Fe National Forest.
