ILS PRM approach
ILS (instrument landing system) PRM (precision runway monitoring) approach
An instrument landing system (ILS) approach conducted to parallel runways whose extended centerlines are separated by less than 4300 ft. The parallel runways must have a precision runway monitoring (PRM) system that permits simultaneous independent ILS approaches. This permits aircraft to land closer to one another than other-wise possible. All pilots are required to undergo special training for this purpose.
