Five soil orders (Ultisols, Aridisols, Oxisols, Andisols, and
Inceptisols) were obtained from the following sources (Ryan et al.
Relationships between soil characteristics and total and DTPA-extractable micronutrients in
inceptisols of Punjab.
Rosenami, Concentration and Speciation of Heavy Metals in Some Cultivated and Uncultivated Utisols and
Inceptisols in Peninsular Malaysia.
The experiment was conducted in open air using 7.5-L pots (30 cm diameter) filled with
Inceptisols (Ustepts) (USDA, 2013).
Soil quality response to long-term wastewater irrigation in
Inceptisols from a semi-arid environment.
Pedogenic factors, especially the varying climate and topography, have caused the formation of various soil orders including Alfisols, Mollisols, Aridisols, Entisols, and
Inceptisols. One of the most important of these soil orders is the Mollisols that has a basic role in the production of agricultural products due to the fertility of the soils in this order.
The representative curves of
inceptisols showed a maximum torque of 60[degrees] before rotation.
The soil belongs to the Chhiata series of the Grey Terrace soils (Aeric Albaquept) under the order
Inceptisols in the USDA Soil Taxonomy [24, 25].
TABLE 3: Descriptive statistics for selected physical soil quality indicators of an agricultural field of Ganges Tidal Floodplain soil (classified as
Inceptisols order of US Soil Taxonomy), Bangladesh, collected using 10 m x 10 m grid sampling technique.
Four types of soils, i.e., entisols,
inceptisols, alfisols and vertisols, are present in the study area.
