Web: www.byways.org/browse/byways/16199/ Description:Byway meanders through three national wildlife refuges, several state and local parks and sanctuaries, and the Kennedy Space Center. Recreational opportunities along the byway include swimming, surfing, sailing, boating, fishing, bird-watching, hiking, and biking. The Indian River Lagoon is the most biologically diverse estuary in North America, home to more than 4,000 species of plants and animals.
Legth: 150 miles. Start/Endpoint: Runs along Florida's Atlantic Coast from the Canaveral National Seashore near Titusville south to Wabasso. It includes portions of A1A, US 1, SR 3, and SR 405. Time to Allow: 4 hours. Designation/Year: National Scenic Byway (2002).
