The risk for this cascade of complications increases in patients with throwing-shoulder
internal rotation deficits [greater than or equal to] 25[degrees] compared with the nonthrowing side, and a total arc of motion < 180[degrees].
Internal rotation pillow and boots were used for one to three weeks at night when not using the continuous passive motion machine (CPM).
No evidence of
internal rotation, but some structural information obtained.
Internal rotation of the abducted shoulder also reproduces the symptoms.
One study reported a significant decrease in flexion strength of 17% and
internal rotation strength of 15% and a non-significant decrease in adduction strength of 16%.
The neurologic examination demonstrated severe paresis of left hip abduction (3/5) and
internal rotation. A positive left-sided Trendelenburg's sign was noted as a consequence.
Don't forget to do at least 1-2 sets each of
internal rotation and external rotation for the rotator cuff.
Pretesting consisted of Trunk Rotation which indicated good rotation; Internal and External Hip Rotation which indicated excessive
internal rotation of 55-60[degrees] and external rotation with hard endfeel at 40[degrees] with "clicking of the right hip when stepping over hurdles"; a negative Ober Test for tightness of the Tibial-Femoral Ligament; and a negative Thomas Test for hip extension without lordosis.
And for those working in hospitals which operated alternating shift systems - known as

The standard projections and views for preliminary assessment of the hip are anteroposterior views of the pelvis in neutral position, a view with maximum
internal rotation and a frog (Lauenstein) lateral position.
Furthermore, the sling back and sling seat added to her increasing kyphosis and hip
internal rotation. The wheelchair was limiting her abilities while increasing her disabilities.
The training program consisted of both dynamic and isometric sets of shoulder flexion, extension, abduction, scapular plane shoulder abduction (scaption),
internal rotation, and external rotation.
