Part of the North American literature on medical sociology and anthropology has used microanalysis from the standpoint of existentialism, phenomenology and hermeneutics, reflected in the Brazilian social health sciences geared to the experience of chronic diseases, using case studies, narratives, trajectories, and choices of treatments, decisions and actions around the health-illness-care process focused on events, actions, relationships, meanings, consciousness,
intersubjectivity and the world of daily life.
Anya Daly's Merleau-Ponty and the Ethics of
Intersubjectivity raises timely questions about the human condition, ethical motivation, and the limitations of relying on normative, ethical paradigms to improve that condition and motivation.
The psychoanalytic concepts of transference, countertransference and projective identification reveal an aspect of the intrapsychic "

One promising concept for supporting rigorous interaction in discussion forums is
intersubjectivity.
Intersubjectivity, applied online, focuses on the interchange between peers within a discussion thread, encouraging learners to create new knowledge by integrating concepts synergistically in sequences of discussion posts building on each other (Belcher, Hall, Pressey, & Kelley, 2015; Dennen & Wieland, 2007; Hall, 2015).
The first is a priori
intersubjectivity. What is a priori about this deepest level is that it amounts to a certain dialectical transcendental argument that the sphere of ownness presupposes that of a fundamental otherness, that what is own can be understood only as an (anonymous) other, and this relation of self-other must already obtain intrasubjectively, or in Taipale's words: "Our experience of others as objects is preceded by the 'Urgemeinschaftung of our intentional life, the Ineinander of the others in us,' and the actual other is a particular exemplar of this anonymous anybody implicated in our perception." I agree that this a priori
intersubjectivity must be assumed before any concrete other (at the level of the social, shared world) can become encountered.
In fact, the two terms Presence and
Intersubjectivity, though separated here and throughout Marcel's work, seem really more twists on the kaleidoscope than stages of development.
But his main recourse is to a broadly conceived metaphysics of
intersubjectivity with emphasis on relationality rather than substantiality as the first category of Being.
By focusing on the staged, contextual, and dynamic aspects of

The birth of
intersubjectivity; psychodynamics, neurobiology, and the self.
In alignment with an ethic of care, philosophers and social scientists have developed the concept of
intersubjectivity (Benjamin, 2013; Gillespie & Cornish, 2010).
The theoretical framework of
intersubjectivity and otherness offers the background for understanding the way in which excluded groups are conceptualised, constituted and perceived by the majority.
