Isozaki, Arata
(1931–)Japanese architect who synthesized western and Japanese themes, concentrating on the clarity of geometry and pure forms as in the Gumma Prefecture Museum of Fine Arts, Takasiki, Japan (1974). His recent works include the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, CA, (1981), and Team Disney Headquarters (illus.), Buena Vista, FL. (1990).
