Beneath the supergene domain, this hole intersected a continuous zone of enriched
Itabirite from 140m, of 229m @39% Fe.
* The second example relates to an iron deposit containing two types of ore: hematite and
itabirite. These two ore materials are deeply embedded at a metric scale, moreover their relative proportions change with depth.
* Concentration of iron ores such as
itabirite, hematite, goethite and limonite;
On top of this, the Project also has the additional 2.38 billion tonnes of
Itabirite at 38 per cent Fe at Mbarga in Cameroon, and we also recently announced that Sundance plans to grow that further through more drilling in 2012.
Sundance will then proceed with development and production of the
Itabirite deposits.
* The first optimising control system ever installed in a Brazilian concentrator was fully commissioned last March at CVRD's Timbopeba mine to optimise the grinding of a mix of
itabirite and hematite ore;
